Careers at USTA PNW
USTA Pacific Northwest believes tennis is more than a sport — it is a vehicle for transformation. Established in 1904, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that governs tennis across Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and parts of Idaho. Across our region, more than 1.3 million people engage with tennis each year, supported by a network of over 300 partners — clubs, facilities, coaches, schools, cities, CTAs, NJTLs, and other community and nonprofit organizations — that together bring the game to the communities they serve. As the fastest-growing USTA section in the country, our purpose is simple: to inspire healthier people and healthier communities by making tennis accessible to all.
Behind that reach are more than 400+ team members across the region who give back by growing the game in the communities they call home, reaching players of every age and skill level, including in underserved and under-resourced areas. It's work that has earned us the recognition as a Top Workplace in 2024 and 2025.
That commitment shows up in how we open the game to everyone. We deliver accessible and affordable introductory programs in afterschool, summer camp, and public park spaces that create tens of thousands of play opportunities each year. We provide free loaner equipment, need-based scholarships, and free and low-cost programs with court access for partners and individuals with the goal that cost is never a reason anyone has to sit out. We build community tennis centers in partnership with cities and school districts so that all people have access to a safe, indoor, year-round space to play.
We provide and support structured competitive and recreational play for every age and skill level: junior and adult tournaments, high school and college competition, adult and social leagues, play days, and social events – alongside training for coaches, tennis professionals, and PE teachers. It’s a continuous pathway that keeps players in the game from a first lesson through a lifetime.
Tennis for all. Tennis for life.
By working with USTA PNW, you’re helping to not only make the sport more inclusive, but giving valuable support to the communities we serve.
Through hundreds of partnerships with schools, cities, and community organizations, we’ve created more than 35,000 play opportunities and 400+ seasonal jobs, building not just stronger players, but stronger communities. Our common vision: to build a Pacific Northwest where every serve, volley, and match point opens doors — for players, for communities, and for the future of the game.
Now, we’re looking for passionate people who believe tennis can change lives as much as we do. Are you ready to join our team?
