Playing career in the Open category spanning at least 10 years and during that time with a distinguished record in national or international competition or a dominant record in Sectional competition for a minimum of 5 years. The record of achievement on the court must be supported with a reputation of high integrity, sportsmanship and character. The player must be a PNW resident during the major portion of his/her playing career or must be an active tennis coach or contributor in the PNW following his/her playing career. Must be retired from regular national or international competition in the Open Category for five years.

Must be at least 60 years of age. Playing career in the Senior age categories (35 – 90) spanning at least 10 years and during that time with a distinguished record in national or international competition. The player must be a PNW resident during the major portion of his/her senior career. The record of achievement on the court must be supported with a reputation of high integrity, sportsmanship and character.

The player was active as a competitor in the sport within the last 20 years prior to consideration. Playing career in the wheelchair tennis division with a distinguished record of achievement in national or international competition. The record of achievement must be balanced by being supported with a reputation of high integrity, sportsmanship and character. Must be a resident of the USTA/PNW during a major portion of his/her career. Must be retired from national or international competition for five years.

This category is intended to recognize those whose contributions are deserving of the highest recognition, including officials, volunteers, writers, coaches, promoters, leaders and others who have worked to support tennis. Contributors must either be five years removed from committed work in tennis or at least 65 years of age. Must be a resident of the USTA/PNW during a major portion of his/her career. The individual’s contribution to the sport of tennis must be sufficiently outstanding to be widely recognized for its excellence. Contributions must be made over a period of at least ten years and shall have made a transcendent impact on the sport in the PNW. The record of achievement must be supported with a reputation of high integrity, sportsmanship and character.

Hall of Fame

The USTA Pacific Northwest Tennis Hall of Fame was established in 2000 to honor individuals who have distinguished themselves on the court and/or made significant contributions to the game of tennis. USTA PNW honors and celebrates its legacy of exceptional tennis players and contributors to recognize excellence, and promote and grow the sport of tennis through history. Below are the categories in which you can nominate yourself or someone else for the USTA PNW Hall of Fame.

Open Player
